Cox Radio/Richmond Collects CDs For The Troops

COX RADIO/RICHMOND announced the final number of CDs collected from its "MUSIC FOR THE MILITARY CD DRIVE." The drive went from MEMORIAL DAY weekend thru JULY 4th, they collected a total of 5,835 CDs to send to the troops.
RICHMONDERS dropped the CDs off at PEARSON SIGNATURE DEALERSHIPS and ASHLEY FURNITURE HOME STORE locations. Not only will the troops receive the CDs they will also get hand written thank you notes.
"One of the strengths of our medium is the ability to engage the public to help support those in need," VP/Market Mgr. BOB WILLOUGHBY said. "COX RADIO is excited to have received this level of a response from the community. It is a true testament to the power of radio and the giving nature of our listeners and advertisers."
