R.I. Public Radio Adds Four New Board Members

RHODE ISLAND PUBLIC RADIO, operator of noncommercial WRNI-A/PROVIDENCE and WRNI-F/NARRAGANSETT PIER, RI has named four new board members, including veterinarian CATHY LUND, educator SUSAN LOVEJOY, attorney JOHN J. PARTRIDGE, and NARROW RIVER LAND TRUST Pres. JULIE SHARPE, according to PROVIDENCE BUSINESS NEWS.
"RHODE ISLAND PUBLIC RADIO is pleased to welcome CATHY, SUSAN, JACK and JULIE to our board of directors," said WRNI GM JOE O'CONNOR. "Their leadership skills, experience and passion for public radio in 'The Ocean State' will help tremendously as we work to build our audience and improve the quantity and quality of NPR programming and local news broadcast on 1290 AM in PROVIDENCE and 102.7 FM in Southern RHODE ISLAND."
