NASHVILLE invaded the WHITE HOUSE yesterday (7/21) as part of First Lady MICHELLE OBAMA's WHITE HOUSE Music Series. A Country Music Celebration featured BRAD PAISLEY, ALISON KRAUSS and CHARLEY PRIDE singing some of their biggest hits for a crowd that included President and Mrs. OBAMA, Chief of Staff RAHM EMANUEL, TENNESSEE Senator LAMAR ALEXANDER, TENNESSEE Governor PHIL BREDESEN, NASHVILLE Mayor KARL DEAN, SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE Chairman JOE GALANTE and a handful of students from MUSIC CITY's W.O. SMITH COMMUNITY MUSIC SCHOOL.
The artists also had the chance to answer questions for students, and any time PAISLEY is talking you can be assured that laughs will follow. Click here to read more on the and to find out PAISLEY thinks is the cutest singer in Country music.
In addition, GAC-TV had exclusive access to the events taking place at the WHITE HOUSE. The network filmed footage that will be edited into a TV special, "Country Music At The White House," premiering AUGUST 15th at 9p (ET). GAC personality STORME WARREN will serve as the show's host.
