House Panel Scraps FCC Oversight Hearing
July 23, 2009 at 12:15 PM (PT)
The HOUSE ENERGY AND COMMERCE COMMITTEE canceled the planned FCC oversight hearing TODAY at which Chairman JULIUS GENACHOWSKI and Commissioners MICHAEL COPPS and ROBERT MCDOWELL were scheduled to testify before the panel's communications subcommittee.
The hearing was scrapped due to the committee's work on the markup of the healthcare reform bill.
The hearing will be rescheduled for sometime after next month's recess.
