iBiquity Gets More Funding

In a recent SEC filing, HD Radio developer IBIQUITY DIGITAL announced that it has raised $42.5 million from several of its initial investors. DIGITAL MEDIA WIRE reported the parties who are re-upping their interest in IBIQUITY were major radio groups CLEAR CHANNEL, ENTERCOM COMMUNICATIONS, RADIO ONE, CBS RADIO, GROTECH VENTURES, FIRSTMARK CAPITAL, NEW VENTURE PARTNERS and UNION SQUARE VENTURES.
IBIQUITY now has raised more than $172 million since its inception.
