Settlement Finds That It's Cromwell's 'Party'

CLEAR CHANNEL COMMUNICATIONS and THE CROMWELL GROUP have settled a federal trademark infringement lawsuit CROMWELL filed in DECEMBER, 2006 pertaining to CLEAR CHANNEL’s use of the mark THE PARTY in connection with various radio stations. Under the agreement, CLEAR CHANNEL will license from CROMWELL the right to utilize the mark THE PARTY in connection with radio stations broadcasting in LAS VEGAS and DENVER.
In a statement to the press, CROMWELL Pres. BAYARD WALTERS asserted that the company plans to continue to protecting THE PARTY trademark.
