Publicist, wrestling announcer, and radio guy are the titles carried by SHANNON ROSE, but now the owner of publicity firm ECLECTIC MEDIA PRODUCTIONS has another title, national spokesman for the EHLERS-DANLOS NETWORK CARES organization.
ROSE, who moved from GENESIS COMMUNICATIONS to his own firm and represents several clients including TALK RADIO NETWORK "WATCHDOG ON WALL STREET" host CHRIS MARKOWSKI, has been battling EHLERS-DANLOS Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder, since childhood. Told when he was 12 that he would be confined to a wheelchair, ROSE instead battled through the disease, saying "the words 'I can't' aren’t in my vocabulary." ROSE lost his voice for a year and experiences off-and-on arm paralysis and heart problems, and lives with paralysis of his left diaphragm, but has overcome the troubles to become a familiar figure in FLORIDA pro wrestling, a film critic on national radio, and the head of a growing P.R. firm.
