Kabrich Cracks Open A PPM Device

ALL ACCESS first reported about ARBITRON PPM equipment that had been posted for sale on eBAY (NET NEWS 7/28 and NET NEWS 7/29), and reported YESTERDAY (NET NEWS 8/5) that consultant and PPM watchdog RANDY KABRICH bought the PPM device and encoder, despite ARBITRON's efforts to have the items removed from the site.
Now comes info from KABRICH that he's sucessfully opened -- and checked out the inner workings of the PPM device. KABRICH says "they use the same exact voltage given off by a SONY PSP or PANASONIC CAMERA."
He also claims he's "fully charged" the unit.
ARBITRON had declined to comment.
