Spacial Merges With Ando

SPACIAL AUDIO and ANDO MEDIA have merged. ANDO MEDIA, working with over 6,500 affiliates, deals with audience measurement and ad-replacement for terrestrial broadcasters. SPACIAL AUDIO has been providing automation, ad-insertion and an array of other digital services to primarily pure-play webcasters.
"This merger brings together the strength of ANDO’s more terrestrial customer base with SPACIAL’s large Internet-only base," said ANDO CEO BOB MACCINI. "Together, we now are working across the entire spectrum to drive the streaming audio category to new levels."
Spacial CTO/Co-Founder LOUIS LOUW said, "We’ve been marching down a remarkably similar path to ANDO, but our customers are not the same. That’s why this works so well. The merger is very additive. The complementary nature of our technologies will allow each company to offer expanded capabilities to our established customer bases."
Both brands will continue to operate independently while the companies are engaged in strategic planning to optimize resources and offerings in a merged entity.
