Tech website ALLTHINGSDIGITAL writes, "Time to get the rumor mill kicked into high gear: Multiple music industry sources say APPLE executives have told them the company is planning one of its famed keynote events for the week of SEPTEMBER 7th." Of course APPLE is being quiet about the event and what it might be showing off.
"Given that APPLE has tipped off music industry executives, it’s a fair bet that the event will incorporate music in some way," continues the article. It's expected that STEVE JOBS will be debuting the new "Cocktail" project that APPLE has hinted at, which bundles full-length albums with other goodies.
MACWORLD theorizes a new iPOD and perhaps a major iTUNES upgrade may be coming.
Of course, Apple fans will also be looking forward to seeing CEO STEVE JOBS, who hasn’t made an official public appearance since a keynote presentation last OCTOBER. JOBS had stepped away from APPLE due to a health issue, described as a "hormone imbalance." News later surfaced that JOBS had undergone a liver transplant.
