EMI Names Thompson EVP/Marketing And Promotion

EMI MUSIC/NORTH AMERICA has appointed GREG THOMPSON to an expanded, new role as EVP/Marketing and Promotion. In addition to leading EMI MUSIC’s radio and video promotion teams, THOMPSON will take on additional responsibility for product management, tour marketing, consumer insight and interactive marketing. He will continue to be based in NEW YORK and will report to COLIN FINKELSTEIN, Regional President for EMI MUSIC in NORTH AMERICA.
ANGELICA COB-BAEHLER will assume additional responsibilities as SVP/Media and Creative Services. She will continue leading EMI MUSIC’s NORTH AMERICAN publicity and creative services teams, and will now oversee video production, grassroots marketing, and media buying. She will continue to be based in LOS ANGELES and will report to FINKELSTEIN.

HOWARD HANDLER, EVP/Marketing at EMI Music North America, will be leaving the company.
