NORTHERN LIGHTS BROADCASTING Top 40/Rhythmic KTTB (B96)/MINNEAPOLIS has been clamoring for a city of license change and new tower location for sometime; TODAY (8/25), the station completes the move, dramatically improving the metro signal. KTTB has changed its city of license from from GLENCOE, MN to EDINA, MN.
KTTB's morning host, TONE E. FLY and THE FLY SHOW were yanked off the air on AUGUST 13th as the station prepped for the new signal. KTTB Dir./Programming and Operations SAM ELLIOT commented on the station's website that the FLY SHOW was taken off the air because they "kept talking about things they were told not to talk about." According to the KTTB site, FLY has been lobbying on air, FACEBOOK and TWITTER for a stronger signal. ELLIOT said that KTTB management was concerned that FLY's talking could have "jeopardized the timing" of the tower upgrade.
Look for FLY and THE FLY SHOW to return to the air on KTTB's new stronger metro MINNEAPOLIS signal TOMORROW morning (8/26).
