U.K. group THE LOCAL RADIO COMPANY announced that it plans to delist itself from the Alternative Investment Market of the LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE next month, citing costs that outweigh the benefits gained by continuing to be traded on the exchange.
TLRC, which has sold several of its stations while UKRD has taken a majority stake in the company, is the last radio station owner in the U.K. still publicly traded on the exchange. Shareholders will vote on the delisting on SEPTEMBER 22nd, with the goal being delisting as of SEPTEMBER 30th.
