Blazin' In San Diego Turns To Automation
September 1, 2009 at 1:37 PM (PT)
On MONDAY (8/31), we told you that MEC NETWORK Top 40/Rhythmic XMOR (BLAZIN' 98.9)/SAN DIEGO had let go of their programming staff (Net News 8/1). Last night, at midnight, XMOR turned to 24/7 automation to deliver its Top 40/Rhythmic fair.
XMOR OM/Brand & Marketing LEE CORNELL, MD/afternoons VANYA, APD/mornings CHRIS LOOS, Promotions Manager JEANICE LEE, Mixer DJ SEPH, and production personnel CHRIS "BAM" MORRISON and NOAH AYALA have exited the station.
CORNELL tells ALL ACCESS that, "It wouldn’t be long before high-profile SAN DIEGO on-air talents VANYA and CHRIS LOOS, and the team members found new station homes elsewhere. They’re good people; and CHRIS LOOS and VANYA are exceptional talents, listener focused and committed team players. A real asset to a station wanting to build their brand power."
