Lou Ramirez Joins Golden Music, KAJA Has Prime Opening

GOLDEN MUSIC NASHVILLE has tapped CLEAR CHANNEL Country KAJA/SAN ANTONIO APD/MD/afternoon personality LOU RAMIREZ for Southeast Promotion & Marketing. RAMIREZ, who has been with KAJA the past six years, will report to National Dir./Promotion & Marketing, DARLENE STARR and VP/Promotion & Marketing, BRAD HOWELL.
CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO/SAN ANTONIO OM GEORGE KING told the station staff, "LOU’s passion for the music and his dynamic personality have made him an incredible jock and a tremendous asset to KJ97. We wish the best of luck in his new venture."
The move also leaves KING with a prime opening for an APD/MD/afternooner. According to GEORGE's job description, he is looking for: "A communicator to the Country music audience of SAN ANTONIO- must be a creative, compelling, high-energy, dynamic personality both on the air and in person. Also, must have production skills, be able to write, produce and voice spots. Prefer a minimum 5 years of drive time experience. The candidate should have full knowledge of SELECTOR, On-Air digital delivery system (preferably NEXT GEN), digital production and software (ADOBE AUDITION), web skills, can multi-task and assist in day-to-day operations.
