SALEM Christian AC WFSH (104.7 THE FISH)/ATLANTA morning show "KEVIN & TAYLOR IN THE MORNING" raised close to $2,000 for flood relief through an auction TODAY (9/24). The auction was for a VIP package to see THIRD DAY and JARS OF CLAY in concert with backstage passes and an autographed guitar.
On TUESDAY (9/22), a listener and her elderly parents received offers of furniture, clothing and three months free rent at a MIDTOWN condo. The listener had lost her home and all her possessions in the flood. The morning show also featured experts on dealing with insurance claims and advice on avoiding post-flood clean-up scams. The ATLANTA HUMANE SOCIETY also gave an update on its pet rescue efforts with the flooding.
