The Sleazies Win WBRU's Rock Hunt

BROWN BROADCASTING Alternative WBRU/PROVIDENCE announces THE SLEAZIES have won the station's annual local band competition, "2006 WBRU COORS LIGHT ROCK HUNT."

The quartet beat out finalists RESIN and STREET CREDIT in a showcase judged by music industry professionals on FEBRUARY 17th. THE SLEAZIES take home a multi-thousand dollar first place package, including prizes from sponsors UPN28, BANDSTAND LIVE, GUITAR CENTER, UFO SOUND LAB, EVOLVING ARTIST, CREATIVE ELECTRONICS, THE PROVIDENCE PHOENIX, GIZA, and FOCUS BUSINESS SOLUTIONS.
