JACK is joining the army -- as the "Playing What We Want" format is added as one of four new satellite services being offered by the AMERICAN FORCES NETWORK.
"We were in a position to acquire some new and different programming for the troops and their families, and we jumped on it," said AFN Dir./Radio JEF REILLY. "JACK is aimed at a demographic, which we’ve been looking to attract to AFN Radio."
The format is carried in 177 countries and U.S. territories, as well as aboard U.S. Navy ships at sea.
"At AFN’s request, we are honored to make JACK available to entertain our servicemen and women across the globe with its unique variety of music and personality," said SPARKNET COMMUNICATIONS Co-President GARRY WALL.
