October 8, 2009 at 2:17 PM (PT)
CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KTLK-F/MINNEAPOLIS host CHRIS BAKER scored an interview with Rep. MICHELE BACHMANN (R-MN) in which BACHMANN said that Congress "did a CYA move, they defunded ACORN just for the month of OCTOBER," and revealed that the group would receive funding in NOVEMBER and has received a million-dollar grant for "fire safety." ACORN was widely reported to have been defunded in the wake of the controversy over the community organization's activities.
BACHMANN, on BAKER's show, called for MINNESOTA Gov. TIM PAWLENTY to appoint a special prosecutor to look into the group. Hear the interview by clicking here.
