CAPITOL/NASHVILLE star KEITH URBAN is set to host "We're All For The Hall" next year, already announced for OCTOBER 5th, 2010.
This year's event, held at the SOMMET CENTER in NASHVILLE on TUESDAY (10/13) also featured special guests VINCE GILL, LADY ANTEBELLUM, JASON ALDEAN, DIERKS BENTLEY, TAYLOR SWIFT, FAITH HILL and LITTLE BIG TOWN. The concert sold out in 20 minutes and all proceeds went to the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME.
The HALL OF FAME has not yet gathered a final total amount raised, but the TENNESSEAN estimates that roughly 14,000 attended ($25 per ticket), making a total of ticket sales alone at $350,000. The HALL also offered "premium packages" that sold for an estimated $130,000.
These totals do not count the 76 sponsors, including VERIZON and FORD, who offered their services at no charge and/or made a donation to the museum.
