Veteran Talk radio programmer RANDALL BLOOMQUIST has launched TALK FRONTIER MEDIA, a talent management, content development and Talk media strategy company based on his track record of developing talent and turning stations around.
BLOOMQUIST, who is this week's featured News-Talk-Sports subject at ALL ACCESS' "10 Questions With...," moved into programming after serving as Talk Editor at RADIO AND RECORDS. He programmed WBT-A/CHARLOTTE, WRVA-A/RICHMOND, WMAL-A/WASHINGTON, and WGST-A/ATLANTA, and developed personalities like WTKK/BOSTON's MICHAEL GRAHAM and WZTK/GREENSBORO's BRAD KRANTZ.
"This is an exciting time for Talk media," said BLOOMQUIST. "We are on the verge of a new golden age for spoken-word entertainment when listeners will have nearly unlimited choice on the aptly named 'infinite dial.' But one thing will never change. The winners -- regardless of platform -- will always be those personalities who are able to effectively deliver unique content and create intimate bonds with their audience."
