A swap of positions at THE WALT DISNEY CO. will see CFO TOM STAGGS become Parks and Resorts Division Chairman, replacing JAY RASULO, who will become CFO effective at the end of 2009. The move is intended to give the two executives experience in more areas as candidates to be CEO BOB IGER's top lieutenant.
The changes come as DISNEY reported fourth fiscal quarter net income rising 18% to $895 million (47 cents/share) on revenue of $9.9 billion, up 4%. The company owns RADIO DISNEY, ESPN RADIO/ESPN DEPORTES RADIO and ABC NEWS RADIO.
