Federal Agents Raid Gibson Guitar Manufacturing Plant In Nashville

The TENNESSEAN is reporting that agents from the U.S. FISH & WILDLIFE SERVICE have raided a GIBSON GUITAR manufacturing plant in NASHVILLE after allegations that the company has been illegally importing endangered wood from West AFRICA. Items were confiscated at the facility off of Elm Hill Pike today (11/17).
GIBSON officials have said they are cooperating with agents on the investigation. So far, charges have not yet been filed.
