Rahilly Named Head Of New CC National Sales Group

CLEAR CHANNEL has formed a new sales division, the CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO NATIONAL ADVERTISER PLATFORMS GROUP, and tapped PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS Pres. CHARLIE RAHILLY to run the new operation as President, according to a memo circulated internally by CCR President JOHN HOGAN.
The new division will oversee national ad sales for CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO and its Digital National Sales, Creative Services Group, and Advertiser Development divisions, as well as KATZ MEDIA GROUP (which remains headed by STU OLDS) and PREMIERE RADIO NETWORK AD SALES.
Wrote CEO JOHN HOGAN, "The National Advertiser Platforms Group will marry research insights with outstanding creative to develop national business across all CCR business units. It will allow advertisers easy access to any or all of the CCR national platforms and allow them to use the CCR platforms, personalities, and creativity more fully. As such, CHARLIE will oversee all national advertising sales channels for CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO, including KATZ MEDIA GROUP, PREMIERE RADIO NETWORK AD SALES, CCR DIGITAL NATIONAL SALES, CCR CREATIVE SERVICES GROUP and CCR ADVERTISER DEVELOPMENT. KATZ MEDIA GROUP will continue reporting to STU OLDS.

At PREMIERE, EVP of Affiliate Marketing JULIE TALBOTT is upped to President of Content and Affiliate Relations. EVP/Sales CAROL TERAKAWA will continue to report directly to RAHILLY.
