Vic Chestnutt Passes

Paralyzed indie singer/songwriter VIC CHESNUTT died on CHRISTMAS DAY in a hospital in ATHENS, GA, after taking an overdose of muscle relaxants earlier this week. He was 45.
CHESNUTT, who was left after a car crash when he was 18, performed in a wheelchair. His first album, "Little," was produced by MICHAEL STIPE of R.E.M. and released in 1990. He released over 15 albums since then.
