CITADEL Talk KABC-A/LOS ANGELES weekend car show host "MOTORMAN" LEON KAPLAN is celebrating his 30th year at the station. KABC says that the show is the longest-running show on a sigle station in the market.
KAPLAN said, "It’s been a great ride these past 30 years. I started in 1980 with the likes of MICHAEL JACKSON, KEN AND BOB, and ELMER DILLS. I’ve worked with five GMs and way too many PDs to remember but I love everything about my job. It’s great to know after all these years everyone knows my motto, if it hums, purrs and moves, I’m your guy."
Pres./GM BOB MOORE added, "KABC is proud to have the ultimate gearhead LEON KAPLAN associated with us, over the past 30 years. If it floats, flies or drives, LEON has been in it, driven it or torn it apart. We look forward to the next 30 years of the 'MOTORMAN' Show on KABC. Here’s to good motoring."
