January 7, 2010 at 2:08 PM (PT)
NOALMARK BROADCASTING AC KBIM/ROSWELL, NM has made the flip to Country. "The All New Country Giant" will remain the home of DALLAS COWBOYS FOOTBALL and will continue to carry many familiar promotions. The station covers 22 counties in NEW MEXICO and TEXAS.
GM KEVIN BONNER said: "The move to Country music is not only a sound business decision; it will ultimately keep KBIM number one with our listeners. In this age of pre-recorded, jukebox radio, it’s time we give radio back to the listeners. We’ll feature live local disc jockeys, we will continue our commitment to area news, and we’ll provide a more effective way to deliver results to the business community. That’s how we’ll be more relevant to our audience.”
BONNER will do double duties, as he'll head up the "BEE and the BREAKFAST CLUB morning show with TOM RUIZ, GATOR will take on middays, RICH ALLEN holds down afternoons, and evenings will feature The Big Time With WHITNEY ALLEN.
