REDNECK RECORDS artist GRETCHEN WILSON's former label COLUMBIA/NASHVILLE will release her first "Greatest Hits" album on JANUARY 19th. The "Greatest Hits" album includes all of the fan-favorite songs from over the years, like "Redneck Woman" and "Here For The Party," as well as the never-before commercially released live recording of “Barracuda.” GRETCHEN co-wrote seven and produced six of the 11 tracks in the collection.
GRETCHEN said: "These songs are truth. They are people's lives. That's the wonderful thing about sharing your music with everybody. They get to feel the same feeling that you felt."
In other GRETCHEN news, EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS Country WLHK (HANK-FM)/INDIANAPOLIS has invited her to play the halftime show for the AFC DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF game in INDIANAPOLIS on JANUARY 16th. THE INDIANAPOLIS COLTS, who went undefeated in their first 14 games of the season, will host one of three teams that will be determined during this weekend's playoff games. In addition, GRETCHEN has been tapped to perform the National Anthem prior to the game.
WLHK will broadcast the game and portions of GRETCHEN's performance live, as well as CBS-TV.
