TALK RADIO NETWORK's MICHAEL SAVAGE is still on the U.K.'s banned list, according to comments by Security Minister Admiral LORD WEST in a HOUSE OF LORDS debate.
The BBC reports that LORD WEST, responding to questioning from INDEPENDENCE PARTY leader LORD PEARSON, said that allowing SAVAGE into the country could lead to violence. PEARSON, who supports allowing SAVAGE into the country, asked for specifics on "any statements made by Dr. SAVAGE which the government judges to be inflammatory," but PEARSON, referring to SAVAGE having "spoken about killing 100 million Muslims and spoken in unpleasant terms about killing homosexuals," declined to offer specifics, saying only that "I will provide a list of the things he has said, some of which are fairly objectionable and unpleasant ... I would be surprised if some of the these statements could be put in a context that makes them anything other than abhorrent."
SAVAGE was placed on a list of 22 "undesirables" banned from the U.K. by former Home Secretary JACQUI SMITH. SAVAGE has vigorously protested the ban.
