N.Y. Jazz Host Ed Beach Dies At 86

Condolences to family and friends of ED BEACH, the host of "Just Jazz" on RIVERSIDE CHURCH Jazz WRVR/NEW YORK from 1961 through 1976, who died on CHRISTMAS Day in EUGENE, OR of natural causes at 86, according to the NEW YORK TIMES.

BEACH joined WRVR from crosstown noncommercial Classical WNYC-A-F in JANUARY 1961, when WRVR (now CLEAR CHANNEL AC WLTW) signed on the way.
