Report: Citadel Sues To Enforce Birmingham AE's Noncompete
January 15, 2010 at 7:22 AM (PT)
The BIRMINGHAM NEWS reports that CITADEL is suing COX RADIO and DON LEO, a former CITADEL/BIRMINGHAM Account Executive now with COX, for breach of contract.
LEO left CITADEL, where he sold sports advertising packages, for COX in NOVEMBER, and CITADEL contends that he had a six-month noncompete in his contract preventing him from working for a competing company in the market. LEO denies that he violated his agreement with CITADEL and contends that his present duties do not entail selling advertising in BIRMINGHAM and involve different (non-Sports) programming from CITADEL's.
