NORTHERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY Triple A WNKU/CINCINNATI has now completed its move to full-time Triple A music programming as NPR’s "Morning Edition" has been dropped for a music-intensive morning show hosted by station News Director CRAIG KOPP. Further, NPR’s "Fresh Air will also be making way for more music in the evening between 5:30 and 6:30p.
Besides great music, the "Morning Drive" show will still deliver the unique news and information -- NPR and BBC newscasts, local news and local features, and interviews that get behind the headlines.
PD MICHAEL GRAYSON explained the New WNKU: "These changes give us a great opportunity to do what we do best -- provide music from some of the most creative artists in the world and local information that isn't heard anywhere else. WNKU provides an alternative not just for commercial radio listeners but for public radio listeners, too."
