COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL is giving Country radio an opportunity to plug into a turnkey radio event for raising funds for the children and families in HAITI who were affected by the earthquake. An online landing page and tool kit with all of the pertinent resources has been created, making the promotion, turnkey packet for radio to utilize.
You can check it out by clicking here.
MIKE SEVERSON, formerly the Christian Editor at ALL ACCESS who has also worked for MIDAS RECORDS and MCA, but now handles Artist/Media Relations for COMPASSION, tells ALL ACCESS that content and resources are still being added, including artist liners and spots that will help in making it Country format-specific. The opportunity is open for any radio group, station or show that isn’t significantly involved with specific charities through NAB or their own local affiliation.
Artists that are participating in the promotion include LADY ANTEBELLUM, RODNEY ATKINS, JAMES OTTO, JEWEL, SARAH BUXTON, JESSICA HARP, KELLIE PICKLER, JOSH TURNER, GRETCHEN WILSON, RICHIE McDONALD, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, FAST RYDE and many more.
Mt WILSON BROADCASTING Country KKGO/LOS ANGELES already has an event planned for FEBRUARY 1st. Radio stations can plan an event for that day or even beforehand. It just needs to be coordinated with COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL.
COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL has been involved in HAITI for over 40 years, serving hundreds of thousands of children and families. For info contact MIKE at (615) 496-6023 or email@example.com.
