JOY CHRISTIAN COMMUNICATIONS, INC is donating WKDG-A/SUMITON, AL to COMMUNICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE. The donor took the station silent on JANUARY 21st due to "financial instability."
In another filing with the FCC, CLARION COMMUNICATIONS Talk WYXC-A/CARTERSVILLE, GA, which had previously announced that it did not intend to return the station to the air after catastrophic equipment failure, has informed the Commission that it intends to relaunch the station in MARCH after permanently replacing and rebuilding the failed equipment.
And PENSACOLA CHRISTIAN COLLEGE, INC. has taken K210BY/KLAMATH FALLS, OR off the air after losing its tower lease. The licensee tells the FCC that it is seeking a new location for the FM translator.
