Prager's Appearance On 'Larry King Live' Draws Fire

An appearance on CNN's "LARRY KING LIVE" MONDAY night earned SALEM RADIO NETWORK's DENNIS PRAGER so much hate mail that he devoted the first hour of TUESDAY's show to it. PRAGER earned some viewers' wrath by defending CBS' decision to reject a SUPER BOWL ad for gay dating site MANCRUNCH.COM, saying that the SUPER BOWL should be a "safe haven" for families to enjoy without advocacy ads, whether for gay dating or pro-life (as in the accepted spot with TIM TEBOW presently scheduled to air on SUNDAY's telecast). PRAGER debated a spokesman for MANCRUNCH.COM on KING's show.
SRN VP/News and Talk Programming TOM TRADUP said, "DENNIS could not have been more respectful or moderate in his discussion (as evidenced on the video posted online) and it is sad that some misguided individuals are choosing to distribute his words out-of-context and attempt to turn DENNIS's mainstream views into so-called hate speech that he neither believes nor supports."
