No Justice
DALLAS-based independent record label CARVED RECORDS has officially opened its doors and has signed its first Country band, TEXAS group NO JUSTICE.
The label was founded by entrepreneur and CEO TIM PORTER in 2009. The staff is anchored by VP/Operations PHIL THOMAS (formerly of UMG DISTRIBUTION/FONTANA, RED DISTRIBUTION) and Label Dir. JENN LITTLETON (CO5 MUSIC, former Sr. Marketing Director/A&R GEFFEN RECORDS).
PORTER said: "CARVED RECORDS was founded with a mission to encourage artistic integrity and career longevity. The CARVED RECORDS family has already signed two very unique and very diverse acts in NO JUSTICE and TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION, which is something that our label will continue to do in the pursuit of our creative vision. Our intent is not to sign as many acts as we can, but to keep our roster manageable so that we can build careers with them.”
NO JUSTICE has had several #1 singles on the TEXAS MUSIC CHART, including "Never Come Back" and "Don't Walk Away." Their team also includes NASHVILLE veteran artist manager SCOTT WELCH of SCOTT WELCH MANAGEMENT and agent JON FOLK of RED 11 MUSIC.
NO JUSTICE is currently in NASHVILLE completing their debut album for CARVED RECORDS with producer DEXTER GREEN. The album is scheduled for a late spring release.
