KSBJ EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION Christian AC KSBJ/HOUSTON suspended regular programming on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 1st for 18 hours for the "HEART FOR HAITI" campaign. The station raised a total $356,093.65. The funds will benefit nonprofit organizations WORLD VISION, LIVING WATER INTERNATIONAL, COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL and SAMARITAN'S PURSE to meet the needs in HAITI.
"KSBJ exceeded its fundraising goal of $50,000 by 712 percent thanks to our generous listeners. These funds will help us spread God's hope to those in HAITI who are affected by this devastation," said KSBJ Pres./GM TIM McDERMOTT.
“The work KSBJ has done is nothing less than amazing! Their passion and talent has deeply moved their listeners to do Kingdom work that will have a positive effect in HAITI for generations to come. God may indeed be listening but I guarantee he is smiling today, too!” said WORLD VISION Dir./Donor Engagement STEVEN QUANT.
