Zac Brown Band Responds To PETA

ATLANTIC/HOMEGROWN/BIGGER PICTURE's ZAC BROWN BAND was contacted recently by PETA with a letter asking them to consider vegan meals for their “eats and greets” and sending along a basket of protein-rich faux meats.
PETA’s MICHELLE CHO wrote: “Not sure how well those will go with cold beer, sweet tea and pecan pie, but it's certainly worth a taste.”
ZAC BROWN responded MONDAY (2/8) on his TWITTER account: “Dear PETA - Plants are living creatures too … Bacon had a mother but so did Pickle. It takes life to support life – welcome to the planet.”
