Big Kenny To Host 'Help For Haiti' Concert, Releases New Tribute Song & Video

LOVE EVERYBODY/GLOTOWN artist BIG KENNY will host a concert at the RYMAN AUDITORIUM in NASHVILLE on FEBRUARY 27th to help raise funds for COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL’s relief efforts in HAITI. KENNY, along with ALISON KRAUSS & UNION STATION, JARS OF CLAY, MAT KEARNEY, DAVE BARNES, MATT WERTZ and BRANDON HEATH, will perform.
This show is part of a two-city “Help HAITI Live” event. The other half will be at the WILTERN THEATRE in LOS ANGELES, featuring performances by AMY GRANT, REBECCA St. JAMES, FRANCIS CHAN and a headliner to be announced soon. Each show will be streamed live at www.helphaitilive.com.
Tickets for the show at the RYMAN will be priced from $25-$65 and can be purchased as of TODAY (2/15) at www.ticketmaster.com and through the RYMAN at www.ryman.com.

Concurrently, BIG KENNY has also released a brand-new tribute song he wrote in memory of his friend, WALT RATTERMAN, who passed away during the HAITI earthquake (NET NEWS 2/11). “Cry With You” was recorded just before KENNY left for HAITI to help with the relief efforts.
The song includes the FIRST STRING ORCHESTRA (directed by CARL MARSH), with spoken word by SENATOR BILL FRIST, BETTER THAN EZRA members KEVIN GRIFFIN and TRAVIS McNABB, GLOTOWN artist DAMIEN HORNE, LO CARTER and many others.
