METRO RADIO, INC. is selling Brokered Spanish WKCW-A (RADIO LA LEY 1420) and Brokered WKDL-A/WARRENTON, VA to DR. JOHNSON A. EDOSOMWAN's RADIO COMPANION LLC for $2.7 million ($1.9 million for the stations, $800,000 for real property).
In other deals filed with the FCC, BACKYARD BROADCASTING SOUTH DAKOTA LICENSEE, LLC is selling KSQB-A/SIOUX FALLS, SD to JOHN E. SMALL's CUP O'DIRT, LLC for $250,000. The daytimer presently simulcasts sister Oldies KXQL-F (KOOL 107.9).
Trustee LONNIE L. MIXON has applied for involuntary transfer of the licenses of Talk WNSI-A/ROBERTSDALE-MOBILE, AL and Talk WNSI-F/ATMORE-MOBILE, AL from GREAT AMERICAN RADIO NETWORK, INC. and SOUTHERN MEDIA COMMUNICATIONS, INC., respectively, to trusteeship. MIXON was appointed as Chapter 11 trustee by U.S. Bankruptcy Judge MARGARET A. MAHONEY on FEBRUARY 5th.

And PHASOR PHYSICS, INC. has notified the FCC that it has taken FM translator K234BR/COLONIAL PINE HILLS, SD off the air for relocation.
