Steve Sutton Getting Close To Kidney Transplant Goal
February 22, 2010 at 5:22 PM (PT)
ATLANTA radio vet STEVE "BOOMER" SUTTON continues his battle to get a new kidney. In his latest missive, he thanks all who have helped him in his efforts to get up the money for a new lease on life.
"I have been on a long journey these past two years and I have met many new friends and renewed acquaintances with old ones," he wrote. "I been very humbled by their concern, prayers and generous donations in these hard economic times. I have received to this point enough money to put me within $1,500 of getting on the transplant list. If it were not a matter of life or death I would not ask for more consideration, But time is critical and I have no recourse, so if you can help with any donation no matter how small, it will help put me on the list so I can get the life saving transplant I need.
"If you cannot help in some small way I sincerely ask for and appreciate your prayers."
Please make contribution checks to: STEVE SUTTON , 697 Henry Scott Rd., BALL GROUND, GA 30107. For: STEVE BOOMER SUTTON KIDNEY FUND.
