MULTICULTURAL RADIO is selling WNYG-A/MEDFORD, LONG ISLAND, NY to RADIO CANTICO NUEVO, INC. for $150,000 ($124,992 in a promissory note). The station, previously licensed to BABYLON, has a construction permit to move to MEDFORD, further out on LONG ISLAND.
In another deal filed with the FCC, NANCY EPPERSON's CHESAPEAKE-PORTSMOUTH BROADCASTING CORPORATION and THE RIVER EDUCATIONAL MEDIA are selling Talk WBOB-A/JACKSONVILLE, FL and FM translator W279AG/ATLANTIC BEACH, FL to NEW COVENANT MINISTRIES, INC. for $1.49 million ($70,000 down, $400,000 cash at closing, $1.09 million in a seller note). MARK JORGENSON of JORGENSON BROADCAST BROKERAGE served as exclusive broker for the deal.
And in a silent Special Temporary Authority filing, INSPIRATION TIME, INC. has asked for an extension of its STA to keep WTMV/YOUNGSVILLE, PA off the air because it has applied for relocation and is awaiting Commission action on the application. WTMV has been off the air since JULY 21st, 2009.
KZGL/Flagstaff Sold By Receiver
BILL BROTHERS' TOWER INVESTMENT TRUST is buying AAA KZGL (EAGLE 103.7)/FLAGSTAFF, AZ, from KALIL HOLDING GROUP LLC as receiver for WALKER BROADCASTING, INC. for $350,000.KALIL AND CO. served as exclusive broker for the deal.
