Two Iowa FMs Sold; Capitol Sells North Carolina CP

DEAN SORENSON's JIM DANDY BROADCASTING is selling Hot AC KUYY (Y100.1)/EMMETSBURG, IA and Country KKIA (THE MOOSE)/IDA GROVE, IA to COMMUNITY FIRST BROADCASTING, LLC, owned by SORENSON, DUANE BUTT, and NEIL LIPETZKY's DAKOTA BROADCASTING, for $2,358,700. SORENSON owns 50% of the seller and 30% of the buyer. The deal also includes a time brokerage agreement dated DECEMBER 1st, 2009.
In another deal filed with the FCC, WAY-FM MEDIA GROUP, INC. is selling FM translator W264AW/KELLY, KY to R & F COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $40,000.
And LC MEDIA LP has notified the FCC that it has taken KQIE/REDLANDS, CA silent; the station is the former KDES-F/PALM SPRINGS that is being moved into the SAN BERNARDINO-RIVERSIDE market. The move has been delayed by winter weather conditions at the new site in the hills east of YUCAIPA and south of OAK GLEN, between PALM SPRINGS and SAN BERNARDINO.
Capitol Sells North Carolina CP
CAPITOL BROADCASTING CO., INC.'s WNCM-FM, LLC is selling the construction permit for WNCM/GARYSBURG-ROCKY MOUNT, NC to PINESTONE MEDIA CORP. for $550,000.
JOHN CUNNEY of PATRICK COMMUNICATIONS served as broker for the seller in the deal.
