Australia's National Radio Conference Looking For Speakers

COMMERCIAL RADIO AUSTRALIA's 2010 NATIONAL RADIO CONFERENCE in MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA has issued a call for speakers. Expressions of interest to do presentations at the Conference, part of the annual RADIOFEST showcasing commercial radio, addresses developments in the radio and media industries, focusing on emerging technologies, trends, opportunities and challenges that face media professionals around the country and globally.
Among past speakers are names like JOHN CLEESE, BBC host MICHAEL PARKINSON, astronaut BUZZ ALDRIN, director BRUCE BERESFORD, comic and "SIMPSONS" voice artist HARRY SHEARER, Sir BOB GELDOF, actor BARRY HUMPHRIES (aka "Dame Edna Everage"), and many more.

The event takes place on OCTOBER 15th. Proposals should be clearly written and no more than 200 words in length, explaining precisely what conference attendees can be expected to learn or gain from the presentation. Papers promoting company products or services will not be accepted, although papers explaining the underlying technologies used in broadcast products or services will be acceptable. Submissions are due no later than FRIDAY, APRIL 23rd and should include a brief title of the proposed presentation or session, a summary of the presentation content, and a summary background of the presenter of no more than 200 words.
