CMA Board Meets With Lawmakers

Members of the Board of Directors of the CMA (COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION) met with a variety of policymakers during their recent Board meeting in WASHINGTON, D.C., MARCH 9th-11th including JULIUS GENACHOWSKI, FCC Chairman. The Board also met up with a number of Senators, Representatives, and others to learn about current legislative and regulatory issues and to share their views from their perspective in the broader world of Country Music.
According to the CMA press-release: “Discussions covered a range of views regarding public policy on telecommunications issues, technology issues, and copyright issues, international interest in U.S.-based Country Music, and the melding of all these issues as the digital age progresses.”
