Judge BURTON LIFLAND, the bankruptcy court judge hearing CITADEL BROADCASTING's case, has entered an order that sets the deadline for creditors to file proofs of claim as APRIL 21st at 5p ET. Governmental units filing claims have until JUNE 18th to do so.
LIFLAND also approved CITADEL's motion authorizing the company to reject certain contracts, including some programming contracts, and unexpired leases of real property; no responses to the motion had been filed by the MARCH 2nd deadline.
A hearing to consider CITADEL's motion for approval of its debtors' disclosure statement and other motions related to its reorganization is scheduled for MONDAY (3/15) at 10a ET.
