KISW Morning Team Helps Girl Scout Theft Victim

ENTERCOM Active Rock KISW/SEATTLE morning team THE BJ SHEA EXPERIENCE” surprised a 16-year-old GIRL SCOUT with over $1,000 in an effort to help her recover the money that was stolen while she was selling cookies. On MARCH 11TH, 2010, the GIRL SCOUT who’s nickname is “SNICKERS” on the air, was selling the beloved GIRL SCOUT cookies at a SAFEWAY in TACOMA, when a man ran up to her table and stole a bag of cash.
According to the victim, the robber is described as a thin, tall, white male in his 20s, with red hair and goatee. He was wearing a gray hoodie, a beanie, jeans and black shoes.
“It feels really good to help this young woman. When we heard the story, we felt immediately compelled to do something to help,” said BJ SHEA.
