FCC Nixes Appeal Of Decision Rejecting Noncomm Application

The FCC has rejected a Petition for Reconsideration by NEW BEGINNING WORLD OUTREACH of the dismissal of its application for a new noncommercial FM at WYTHEVILLE, VA.
NEW BEGINNING's original 2007 filing was dismissed because the proposed 60 dBu contour failed to cover at least 50% of WYTHEVILLE. An amended application was reinstated but then dismissed due to impermissible overlap with the applicant's WCQR/KINGSPORT, TN. NEW BEGINNING's subsequent appeal was filed nine months after public notice of the latter decision, and the FCC noted that the filing was due no later than 30 days after public notice.
