Johnnie High Funeral Services Held At Arlington Music Hall

JOHNNIE HIGH’s funeral was held on MARCH 20th at the place he loved best, the ARLINGTON MUSIC HALL. HIGH hosted his COUNTRY MUSIC REVUE at the hall for more than 30 years. HIGH passed away MARCH 17th of congestive heart failure at the age of 80 (NET NEWS 3/18).
Close to 1,200 people attended the funeral, including CURB artist STEVE HOLY, who was a pallbearer. JOEY FLOYD, a member of SHOWDOG-UNIVERSAL MUSIC artist TOBY KEITH’s touring band, sang a duet of “One Day At A Time” during the service. The tribute ended with an estimated 200 people singing the classic “I’ll Fly Away.”
