KDJQ Sold; Rubber City Deal Price Announced

MEDIA SERVICES GROUP's GREG MERRILL, the receiver for silent KDJQ-A/MERIDIAN-BOISE, ID is selling the station to INGLESIA MISIONERA PENTECOTES, INC. for $325,000. The station was placed in receivership in NOVEMBER 2008 after then-owner ROB COMBS failed twice to close on sales of the station.
The price for the previously announced sale of RUBBER CITY RADIO GROUP's four station FM cluster in LANSING, MI -- Active Rock WJXQ, Smooth Jazz WJZL, Classic Hits and Alternative WVIC -- to MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS INC. is $4 million, according to the contract filed with the FCC.
And the price for the previously announced sale of eleven MICHIGAN stations by NORTHERN STAR BROADCASTING, L.L.C. to SOVEREIGH COMMUNICATIONS is $3.425 million, according to the paperwork filed with the FCC. The stations include Top 40 WYSS (YES! FM), Country WMKD (BIG COUNTRY 105.5), and Talk WKNW-A/SAULT STE. MARIE; Rock WUPK (THE BEAR), Talk WDMJ-WIAN, Oldies WNGE (Oldies 99.5) and Country WJPD/MARQUETTE-ISHPEMING; AC WZNL (Z94.3)/NORWAY, MI; and Rock WIMK (THE BEAR) and Talk WMIQ-A/IRON MOUNTAIN, MI.
